05-05-2008: After months and months of waiting the moment has finally come, all arrows point towards upcoming Thursday, the day on which the Nokia E71 will probably come. The device is also spotted in webshops.

The Nokia E71 has been waiting for months to be announced. The device seems to be at the point of launch because upcoming Thrusday, May 8, is mentioned as date of announcement. However, this is not all, the Nokia E71 is also spotted in several Dutch webshops with full specifications and image material.
The Nokia E71 is a device that a lot of businessman and women are waiting for. Since the launch of the Nokia E61i in February 2007, the Finnish manufacturer has not launched a business device in this shape anymore. A lot of businesspeople prefer a compact candybar shape for their device and that is an area in which Nokia has not launched anything new last year. The Nokia E71 does match this description and it's a true follower of the Nokia E61i with her specifications.

That the announcement of the Nokia E71 is planned at May 8 matches the webshops because the device can be found in several Dutch webshops already, complete with her specifications. That's why we know that the size of the E71 will be 112 x 57 x 10 mm and that the device is good at data connections. The device will namely offer GPRS, UMTS, HSDPA and WiFi support, so checking your business e-mail will take place on top speed.
In order to make sure that you will never be late for that impotant business meeting, th Nokia E71 has an integrated GPS received and Nokia Maps. Nokia also though of relaxation with the E71, the device probably offers a 3 megapixel camera at its back. It will also have a musicplayer and stereo FM radio on board. The amount of memory and whether this will be expandable is not clear, rumours indicate that it is expandable and the webshops state that it's not.
