10-04-2009: How Nokia loves to show her futuristic concepts in videos, the same is for the Nokia Aeon, which can be admired in a true cinema film. Will they ever announce it?

Last year, everyone was talking about the movie "The Dark Knight", in which Nokia debuted her then unannounced Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. This time, Nokia opens up her box of tricks again and shows her Aeon conceot in the film Echelon Conspiracy.

BoyGenius spotted the fragment and published it at the internet today. It is clearly visible that the Aeon is a touchscreen device on which the new features of a touch interface are used. For one, we notice a virtual scroll wheel for the browsing through your contacts.
As far as we know, Nokia doesn't have plans to really bring the Aeon to the market and the use of the concept device in the film is only an indication what the Finnish manufacturer is capable of. Might the opposite become reality we will keep you informed of course.
