Today the first image of the Samsung Galaxy 2 found its way to the web, together with the first specifications of the device. The Samsung Galaxy, Samsung's first Android smartphone, will therefore soon be followed by a new, more powerful version.
The Samsung Galaxy 2 has quite some improvements on board in comparison with the Samsung Galaxy. First of all, the device has a powerful 1 Ghz Snapdragon process, this will make sure that the Android operating system, plus of course all features of the device, will run smoothly. The large 3.7 inch AMOLED display will be visible and clearly legible from all corners and in direct sunlight. In order to make sure that all capacities of Android, and especially her internet functionality, will stand out well, Samsung made sure that the Samsung Galaxy 2 has WiFi, UMTS and HSDPA support. On the multimedia area the Galaxy 2 offers all you need, the device namely has an expanded music player, in combination with a 3.5 mm headset connection, and 32 gigabyte of internal memory. That should be enough for a whole lot of hours of music. A 5 megapixel camera is placed at the back, and if that is not enough yet, the integrated GPS receiver will lead the way.
Samsung has also leaked quite a lot of devices lately. Which devices we will come across next month at the Mobile World Congress is something that we cannot tell you yet, but something we can only wait for. Via
