The Samsung F110 Adidas Phone will make her debute in the telecomworld halfway November. After a short cooperation between Samsung and Adidas both companies will launch the first result of their cooperation in November. Mobile Phone Helpdesk got the opportunity to meet this sporty mobile phone before its launch, which seems to offer surprisingly much sport applications.

The Samsung F110 Adidas Phone is particularly qualified as supportive partner while playing sports. The expanded music function offering both an FM radio and MP3 player offer the mental encouragement. Applications such as a stepcounter and a heartbeat monitor register the sports progress and this makes the Samsung F110 Adidas Phone a highly progressive digital coach.

The Samsung F110 Adidas Phone offers a 2 inch 262.000 colours TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. This display naturally is the entrance to all functions of the device, but it also functions as display for the 2 megapixel camera which is placed at the back of the device.
Not only the realization of the functions of the device indicate that it is focussed on sports. The design of the device also makes clear that Samsung has kept userfriendliness in the back of the head while playing sports. First of all, the device offers two quick keys that direcly navigate to the sports and music functions. Besides this, the slider can even be opened easily when you have got sweaty hands because of a higher edge that is placed on top. Furthermore, Samsung has not used touch-sensitive keys but regular keys and this enlarges the userfriendliness.
The owner of the device will mainly not use the internet and e-mail while playing sports. However, the device can still handle this. Small disadvantage here is that quick dataconnections will not be possible with this device, this because the device is only a quad-band EDGE phone. In some European countries this means that data connections can only be made with GPRS.
Samsung has not officially announced her F110 Adidas Phone. This will take place halfway November. Samsung was not able to offer specifications or pressinformation yet.
