10-01-2008: New manufacturer WNC had a scoop at the CES in Las Vegas, they are the first producer to display operating system Android working on a device at a public occasion

Wistron NeWeb Corp or WNC, shows a new device at the Consumer Electronics Show on which Google's Android operating system could be admired. WNC is a unknown manufacturer of mobile phones and was ready to promote her "Google Phone" in the United States this week. This was not the first time that Android was found on an unknwon device, a device with Android was already photographed in December. WNC had the scoop of being the first manufacturer to show a working Android device to the world.
Workers of Ubergizmo got the chance to photograph this new "Google Phone". The WNC device will come to the market in silver and black but this is only for the American market. HTC will probably become the producee of Android devices in Europe.

The Android system is a powerful and dynamic operating system that combines the dynamic part of Mac OS X with the familiarity of Windows and the symbols of Symbian. At the photo above a dynamic and interactive part of Android can be seen, the weather is updated realtime and this is something that the Apple iPhone also does.

A Google Phone would not be a Google phone without the well-known Google applications. Of course, the Google search engine is present, but Google Maps are also integrated into the system. With this, cities and places can be found but the user can also find the fastest way to cafes, restaurants and other pleasureable things.
That Google's Android operating system is coming is clear and Europe is probably the next to witness the system at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which is held in February.
