The very special Samsung i900 was first found when a pressphoto of the candybar leaked on the internet in January. At the TeleVisie 2008 event in Nieuwegein, Holland, today, Mobile Phone Helpdesk made the first photo of the Samsung i900, with which the device reveales a lot of details about itself.
The specifications of the Samsung i900 that were displayed right beside the device offer a lot of information about the multimedia candybar. The candybar is 112 x 56 x 13 millimeters big and it has a large touchscreen that will probably be a 262.000 colours display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. The large display is perfect for capturing your favourite moments and for sharing them. That is totally no problem for the Samsung i900, the candybar namely offers a 5 megapixel camera with expanded possibilities. Making your own photos on high quality is realized by this.

Another possibility of the Samsung i900 that was revealed today is UMTS support. Due to this, the internet can be reached on high speed. The user of the device can also make videocalls with help of the VGA camera that is placed at the right upper corner of the device. Furthermore it is quite special that the multimedia candybar also offers WiFi b/g support. So, using a wireless network at home or at the office to use the internet even faster is possible with the Samsung i900.
The Samsung i900 operates on the Windows Mobile 6.1 system, the newest system of Windows that makes the mobile phone expanded, stable and expandable. The Samsung i900 can be expanded with your own favourite programs. Other possibilities that are not mentioned on the list are an integrated GPS receiver to find your way and expandable memory up to eight gigabyte.
