19-02-2009: Samsung still did her best this week, but the Korean brand has managed to leak another six devices by showing them in Barcelona without officially announcing them. Here we go again.

Samsung launched 21 devices this week at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, of which the three top devices were expandedly showcased at the Fira. Apparently, Samsung went on and while we were enjoying our last day at the event we were attracted by six still unannounced devices, spread over the low-end and mid-end section. Although we don't know the specifications of the device yet, we can tell you what we expect of them.
Samsung S6700
The Samsung S6700 is a mid-end slider that seems to be focussed on the internet user. With the quote "stream in style" Samsung underlines what the S6700 is all about: quick internet. Therefore we expect UMTS and HSDPA support. The device will probably have a 262.000 colours display and a 2 or 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Samsung S6700 will offer everything the average caller needs. A quick internet connection, good standby and talk time, and the possibility to send files via bluetooth. Furthermore, the memory will probably be expandable and a musicplayer will not be overlooked.

The Samsung S3310 will be positioned at the bottom of the mid-end market. With the quote "the glitter in svelte" Samsung emphasizes the beautiful and slim design of the candybar. What exactly will be the thickness of the Samsung S3310 then is not clear at this moment.

The Samsung S3310 will probably have a 2 megapixel camera and about 20 MB of internal memory. The display will probably be a TFT display with 262.000 colours.

The highlight that we spotted today at the Samsung booth is the Samsung M2710, a device that is designed for the middle section. The device looks stylish and young and does not only have a regular navigation key, this also functions as a key to fully operate your music. The slider will probably come to the market in several colours.

The Samsung M2710 has expandable memory and an expandable musicplayer. The device is specially focussed on the musiclover and will also offer several possibilities on that area. A 2 or 3.2 megapixel camera will probably be hidden at the back.

The Samsung P250 is a nice mid-class device with no special focus on, for example, music or camera possibilities. The device just looks good and offers the functions you need on a mobile phone. First of all, the slider will have a good standby and talk time and it also has a nice design.

The Samsung P250 will probably be brought in the shape of a prepaid package or against a very low price when it is sold seperately.

The Samsung P270 seems to be the big brother of the Samsung P250. Also developed for the prepaid section, the device is designed as a stylish slider. The quote of Samsung "connect with style" empowers this story a little extra.

At the back, of course not visible on the photo, a 2 megapixel camera will be placed. A musicplayer will also be there, may it be a limited one because the expectation is that the memory cannot be expanded.
Samsung E1360
The Samsung E130 is a real low-end device that will be in the shops together with a prepaid card. The device looks very basic and will maybe even come to the market in several different colours. It is at least clear that the Samsung E1360 has a stereo FM radio with which you can enjoy music delightfully.

The expectation is that the Samsung E1360 will just be good for the staying in touch with your friends and family. A musicplayer and internet support will probably not be present.

When Samsung will exactly announce the devices is of course something we don't know at the moment, especially because the devices leaked during an announcement of Samsung. When the moment is there, Mobile Phone Helpdesk will of course keep you informed.
