British Parliament fond of iPhone Apps

08-07-2010: The recently elected British government will get punished. The new Members of Parliament namely got an iPhone as their new phone and the expenses for iPhone Apps are rocketing.

The British Members of Parliament are clearly more than just fond of their new toy. After the old Parliament reached the news in quite a negative way due to her extravagant pattern of spending, one would think that the new Parliament would not even think about going there again. On the contrary, the British Parliament spends a lot on Apps from Apple's Appstore.

In the couple of weeks that the new British Parliament had been elected, the Members of Parliament already spent an amount between £10,000 and £40,000 on iPhone Apps. The expenses on Apps were mainly spent on apps that relate to searching for new jobs and travel advice. The Members of Parliament might need the first app any time soon...
